Ministry

Mission and Vision

The Great Commission (Mt 28:19) is the foundation of our philosophy of ministry.  The Commission tell us to "therefore go and make disciples of all nations teaching them to obey all I have commanded you...."  We have summed up this vision in four words:

• Evangelize - our first priority is reaching the lost with the message of Jesus Christ.
• Equip - we believe that it is imperative that we not only evangelize but that we also equip our members to be fruitful in their walk with God and to be effective ministers where God has placed them.
• Multiply - by equipping our church members to do ministry our church doesn't simply add to the kingdom of God, but the effect is multiplied through the efforts of each of our members.
• Repeat - we acknowledge that the above activities are not a one-time event but rather a continual process that must be repeated as long as we exist.

Services

• Sunday Morning (10 am) -  at our Sunday morning service we offer a contemporary mix of hymns and praise choruses as our style of worship.  The biblically-based sermons offer practical solutions for everyday Christian living and are presented in a humorous and laid back fashion.  Our dress code is no dress code.  Come as your are (our pastor does!)
• Sunday Night (6 pm) - our Sunday night service is truly unique. We give the pastor the night off and let members of our congregation try their hand at preaching. This is part of our equipping process for members who would like more experience in preaching and teaching, and it allows the congregation to hear a variety of perspectives and styles. 

Bible Studies

We have two Bibles studies for those who want to deepen their understanding of the Bible and Biblical issues.  

• Wednesday Night (7 pm) - this Bible study provides an intimate environment in which to study Biblical texts, selected books, or practical ministry issues.  This study is a great way to get to know our church members on a more personal level. 
• Thursday Morning (10 am) - this study led by the senior pastor, Roger Bruce, dives deep into the rich Word of God.
  

Children's Church

During our Sunday morning service we offer children's church program for kids ages 2-10.  We also have a nursery available for children under 2.
